Neema is the Human Resources Manager at CRE. In this role, she manages the organization’s Human Resources functions, including talent management, full-cycle recruiting, and HR operations. Neema has over ten years of experience working in all facets of human resources in for-profit and non-profit organizations. In her career, she has helped organizations scale up, built HR capacity, implement HR systems and processes, and partner with leaders on employee engagement and culture initiatives. Prior to coming to CRE, Neema served as the Director of Talent and Organizational Development at the Center for Reproductive Rights. Before that, she served as the Manager of Human Resources and Administration at the Surdna Foundation. Prior, Neema worked at Schrödinger, a global life sciences company, where she was an HR Generalist, and also managed full-cycle recruitment efforts for domestic and international positions. She holds a BA in International Business from Fordham University and an MBA in Human Resources Management from Goldey-Beacom College. She is currently pursuing a master’s in industrial/Organizational Psychology. Neema is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She is fluent in English and Swahili.
