KACF Capacity building Fellow[email protected]
Introducing Monica. As the KACF Capacity building Fellow, Monica uses her six years of marketing and public relations experience to help her support Korean-American nonprofits that CRE and KACF work with. She specializes in digital content and social media strategy, brand storytelling, and customer relationship management.
A bit about her. Prior to this role, Monica Lee was at the center of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea as an account manager organizing accommodations and travel solutions for foreign press, sponsors, and athletes in a rural region with accommodation shortages and limited infrastructure. Before this Monica worked for six years in marketing and public relations for the hospitality sector, specializing in digital content and social media strategy, brand storytelling, and customer relationship management for global food brands. She has a New York State DOHMH Food Protection Certification and received her B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard University.
Go on, a little bit more. Monica spent weeks journeying across the Gobi Desert and Central Mongolia without access to electricity, plumbing, or WiFi. She also has a food travelogue inspired by regional dishes and people she encountered during her time in the Korean countryside.
