2012
  • Honored by the Young Women of Color HIV/AIDS Coalition at their 1st Annual WE SPEAK Awards for our support of leadership development, HIV prevention for young women of color, and the growth of the Coalition
2011
  • Celebrated 30 years of service to NYC nonprofits
  • Completed our 10th Leadership Caucus for 29 nonprofit leaders
  • Launched our Effective Programs practice
  • Named the only New York partner for Daring to Lead: A National Study of Nonprofit Executive Leadership published by CompassPoint and the Agnes and Eugene Meyer Foundation, who we connected to over 250 NYC executive directors

  • Developed programs to help nonprofits get through difficult economic times with a grant from the New York Community Trust
  • Launched the Nonprofit Management Helpline
  • Partnered with 311 to offer our expert help to nonprofit callers looking for advice and assistance through our Executive Director Hotline
  • Fran Barrett receives Founder’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the Alliance for Nonprofit Management
  • Published "Roadmap To The Websites" with Barbara Kronman

  • Became pro bono client of Schulte Roth & Zabel

  • Successfully met the Jenesis Foundation Challenge by raising $300,000 from individual donors
  • Administered $2 million re-granting program for the NYC Communities of Color HIV/AIDS Coalition
  • Founded The Fundraising Institute

  • Moved to 42 Broadway and opened the C3 Conference Center 
  • Published “Del Dicho al Hecho” (a Spanish translation of “From Vision to Reality”)
  • Started Leadership Coaching with 360 Feedback component

  • Selected by City Council and Department of Health to Manage the $2.6 Million NYC Council Communities of Color Initiative management assistance program

  • Developed CRE’s model of leadership development and launched first Leadership Caucus
  • Developed & launched Measuring Impact Study of CRE’s Capacity Building

  • Operated out of APICHA’s offices during 9/11 crisis
