Leveraging Resources

CSI helps to identify, advocate for, and connect resources to communities and community organizations that support their work in strengthening New York City.

Current projects include:

  • Professional Advisors Network, a network of emerging corporate leaders who take on the roles of strategic advisors to community organizations in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
  • Gray Matters, a group of retired executive volunteers who serve as strategic advisors to a variety of nonprofits throughout the City. Read the Kiplingers Retirement Report article about them here.
  • NYC Community MBA Internship Program, introducing a program placing MBA students in summer projects with CRE clients. This program is run in partnership with the MBA-Nonprofit Connection in San Francisco.
