Sharing Knowledge, Strategies, and
Solutions
CRE shares what we know and learn with a wider audience so that other groups and communities can understand issues and discover what works.
- Creating Development Capacity: CRE & CUNY Fundraising Institute - In partnership with the City University of New York, this project trains staff from youth-serving organizations in fundraising. Fellows receive up to 12 undergraduate credits upon successful completion of the program and the youth organizations get to increase their development capacity by having additional in-house help in fundraising. This initiative is generously supported by the Kellogg Foundation, the New York Community Trust and the Altman Foundation. Read about the Fundraising Institute in detail here.
- Mexicans in Staten Island Report - Underwritten by Staten Island Bank & Trust, this report documents the needs of the emerging Mexican community in Staten Island and helps the community develop responses.
- CRE Publications -
CRE publishes several books that help community leaders manage their organizations. Titles include:
- The Courage to Pause: Lessons Learned from CRE’s Leadership Caucus
- Peak Performance: Nonprofit Leaders Rate Highest in 360-Degree Reviews
