Community Resource Exchange works with organizations ranging from small start-ups operating out of church basements and storefronts with no paid staff, to multi- service community centers with $30 million budgets. CRE focuses our efforts on New York City's areas of condensed poverty where community need is greatest.
The majority of groups we serve are headquartered in the four outer boroughs. They include day care centers, after school programs, immigrant service and advocacy centers, HIV prevention programs, health clinics, senior centers, shelters, soup kitchens, housing programs, workforce development projects, and community organizing projects that ensure social and economic justice for all New Yorkers.
CRE is proud to support these community-serving, community-led groups and, on a city-wide scale, to build a network of strong organizations fighting for social change.
