CRE board member Angelo Falcón has written a story for El Diaro/La Prensa about the dearth of Hispanic-American judges. "While more than 48 million Latinos in the United States presently make up 14 percent of the country's population, only 4 percent of state judges are Latinos," writes Falcon. And in New York, where Latinos make up 16 percent of the population, less than 5 percent are represented on state court.
