Our Team

We’d like you to meet Louisa. Louisa consults in the areas of strategic planning, mergers and strategic partnership, and financial management.

The basics. She has been working in the nonprofit sector for over two decades. Previously Louisa worked in the finance departments of Safe Horizon and Museum of the Moving Image. Right after college, she worked at a nonprofit that went bankrupt – which prompted her to go to graduate school so she could learn how to prevent this from happening at other organizations! Louisa is Board Chair of the Essex County Family Justice Center, an organization serving victims of domestic violence in Newark, NJ. She has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, a M.P.A. in Nonprofit Management from New York University, and is certified in the Clark Wilson Group: 360° Feedback Surveys.

Some not so basic stuff. Louisa is the founder of Community Votes, an initiative to help social service organizations take up nonpartisan voter registration, education, and ‘get out the vote’ activities.

You probably didn’t know. She enjoys reading everything, from the daily paper and poetry to classic literature and murder mysteries.
