Advocacy and Lobbying for Nonprofits

Nonprofits play a vital role in advocating for social issues and in informing and influencing public policy. Yet many nonprofit executives are unclear about the laws surrounding lobbying and political activity. This workshop will help you to learn about what is and what is not considered lobbying, how much lobbying a public charity can do, and what your organization needs to do to protect its tax status while engaging in these activities. Join us just in time for election season!
